Do you consider yourself a present procrastinator? Are you known to shop ‘til you drop at the very last second? Waiting until the last minute is a flex, but it can lead to a whole lot of disappointment if you don’t get your gifts shipped on time.

We’ve got good news for you, though. If you haven’t shipped your last-minute presents, there’s still time. In this post, we’ll share the drop-dead dates for FedEx and UPS delivery by Christmas Eve.

FedEx Drop Dead Dates

If you want to ship domestically the week of Christmas for delivery by December 24, you have a few options with FedEx:

• Ship on Monday, December 22, for delivery by the 24th with FedEx First Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight, FedEx Standard Overnight, Extra Hours, FedEx Ground (2-day transit), and FedEx Home Delivery (2-day transit).

• Ship on Tuesday, December 23, for delivery the next day with FedEx Ground (1-day transit), and FedEx Home Delivery (1-day transit).

• Ship on December 24 for delivery the same day with FedEx SameDay.

UPS Drop Dead Dates

To ship within the US with UPS the week of Christmas for delivery by the 24th, here are your options:

• Ship on Monday, December 22, using UPS 2nd Day Air for delivery by December 24th.

• Ship on Tuesday, December 23, for delivery the next day with UPS Next Day Air.

Shipping with UPS Ground is a little more complicated. Use the UPS calculator to determine drop dead dates based on specific zip codes and destination types.
